This is a small
village with approximately ten houses and small number of people.
There is no problem with flowing watter because they have two fountains
in this village. Because of the large number of climbers they already
have problems with dirt. Please use WC next to school, gather up
the garbage you made, including cigarette ends.
Bologna-Ancona-Ascoli
Picieno. From Ascoli you drive in the direction of Rome on road
(S4). After 6 kilometers you turn to the right to Rocca Fluvione
and pass this settlement. From there is still 15 kilometers. After
a few minutes of driving turn to the left to Monte Gallo and then
after 3,5 kilometers turn again to the left to Meschia. Park in
the village and ask the local people for permission. The boulders
are located 100 meters from the village. The distance between Ascoli
Picieno and Meschia is 30 kilometers.

winter. October is interdicted because of picking chestnuts. Besides
that the entire place is privat. December and January could be quite
inauspicious because there is a possibility of enormous snowing.
The rock is rapidly dried in case of raining.
There is no official
camp. The land where the boulders are located is private, that is
why you have to camp next to school where are also WC and flowing
watter. The meadow is earmarked for camping.
In Rocca Fluvione, where is also a gas station and a store, it is
possible to accommodate in a hotel or private rooms (15 kilometers
from Meschia). Price is around 25€ per night.
