On HW Ajdovscina-Nova
Gorica, take exit Selo and join the old road. Drive approximately
5 minutes into direction Nova Gorica and very shortly after sign
Vitovlje turn to the right to Trajnice. Follow that sign until you
reach Trajnice 20m than turn to the right and in next 100 meters
park your vehicle. Continoue by walk about 10 minutes and around
200 meters below the church (still the same road) on the top of
the hill turn to the left on the road for tractors. After 300 meters
of walk you will reach sector A.
Although
rocks are in the shade, summer can be too hot. Winter, autmn and
spring are the most appropriate.
ACCESS: After crossing mountain pass "Vrsic" (if you
have started from "Kranjska Gora") you just drive alongside
river Soca and after sign Trenta drive (6,7km) till huge road gallery
called "Berebica". Park your vehicle there. Take small
wooden footbridge and turn right and after 200m you gonna reach
sector X .
From April
to September.
This is a privat land.
Sometimes there could be some problems. Do not camp there, be quiet,
do not take dogs with you because of sheeps.
Anyway, there are many campsites just 300 meters up and down the
road, apartments, private rooms and plenty of activities to do during
rest days because of very nice river Soca. The small turistic town
Bovec is just 20 kilometers away. Shops are open also on Sunday's
morning. Rest days are easy to spend with rafting, canyoning, swiming,
moutainbiking…
